On Tuesday evening I attended the 20th anniversary of the WA Fashion Awards for 2016 red carpet event at the State Theatre. The theatre was bustling with creatives dressed in their best and consisted of champagne, lots of clapping, and many amazing Perth creatives nominations and award winners. Nominations included some of my own personal favourites such as stylist Teagan Sewell and designer Natalie Rolt.
Hosted by Tim McMillan and Tracy Vo, the Fremantle label Morrison claimed the award for WA Designer of the year, accepting the Stephanie Quinlan Award.
Teagan Sewell was awarded Racing Stylist of the year and WA model Claudia Todman came out on top for STM Model of the Year. Christine Fox was presented with an award for her dedication to the West Australian Industry as a passionate scout and booker for Viviens. Emerging Designer of the year was taken by I Love Mr Mittens, Retailer of the year was awarded to Periscope and Photographer of the Year was awarded to Chantel Concei.
Between awards the audience was presented with retrospectives of 20 years in Perth fashion, from current designer to work from the late 90's.
I wore a Stylestalker gown from Billie and Rose on Instagram here.
